Indexer Notes
Continued from Superman Vs. the Amazing Spider-Man (DC / Marvel, 1976 series) #1; continued in part in DC Special Series (DC, 1977 series) #27 (Fall 1981).
Jim Shooter posted in his blog that Marv Wolfman was originally scheduled to be the writer for this issue, and had started working with Jim on plotting it when Marv's employment agreement expired. Marv then decided to go to DC, and Jim had to quickly come up with a new writer, finally deciding on himself (as the only Marvel writer who had written both characters).
In the comments section of Shooter's blog, Brett Breeding says that "I was Bob Layton's assistant back then, so I actually inked all of his allotment of the backgrounds."
